Will Cunha maintains a year round gallery, studio and art workshop in Kennebunk.
He has been teaching private and public art groups since 1967. He also organized and taught life drawing and plaine air painting at the Whistler House Museum of Art in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The workshop offers the oil painting aspirant the opportunity to study with one of Maine's foremost professional artist instructors.
Classes are geared to teach a natural method of seeing and painting the beauty around us, utilizing the basic rules of art and nature. The sessions teach pupils to use selective, logical reasoning while composing a painting out of doors or using other visual aides.
ART WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
- Preliminary demonstrations on location
- Individual and group critiques
- Color mixing
- Perspective design and composition
- Methods and techniques with brush and palette knife
Workshops are individually tailored to suit the needs of the student(s). Rates for instruction begin at $40.00 per hour. Please contact Will Cunha Studio for more information.
